The sculptures take the abstract components of language and thought and translate them into a physical\, tangible form\, that speaks to the complexity of the mind in handling various aspects of contemporary life. \nAlthough Letven’s work is comprised of repeating patterns of signs and symbols that are familiar and universal on their own\, the artwork invites viewers to develop new interpretations of each composition. \nABOUT THE ARTIST: \nWendy Letven is a New York-based multidisciplinary artist working in sculpture\, installation and painting.
